WHY CHANGE?

Most common kitchen sponges are mass produced plastic sponges, made with petroleum, bleach, assorted sulphates and a whole range of other nasty chemicals and can take hundreds of years before eventually breaking down into microplastics. These microplastics are a massive contribution to the world's pollution and can have devastating effects on the aquatic ecosystem.

Our cellulose sponges are a great alternative to the plastic sponge, made from wood fibres they are very eco-friendly. The manufacturing process is less toxic and they are biodegradable too.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR SPONGE

• Try to keep your cellulose sponge clean from bacteria and as dry as possible between uses.
• Sponges can be sterilized by soaking in boiling water for a few minutes, popping in the dishwasher, or by microwaving for 30 seconds while damp.
